I don't know for the B in R2 class, I will see what's it ;)
C --> R3 2000cm3. It's, I think, the official name of these cars (the Clio and the Civic)
T --> R3 1600cm3
D --> R3 Diesel :D (2000cm3 ? maybe ...)

Thnx a lot both of you :)
thx Sulland :p
There is no R2C isn't it ?
to make it short:
the letters (A, B, C) describes engines capacity:
- A - to 1,4
- B - 1,4 to 1,6
- C - 1,6 to 2,0
the digits describe the range of modifications allowed (1 - min, 3 - max).
letter T means Turbo (DS3 R3 and 207RC), letter D means Diesel (Punto R3D)
vino_93, there is possibility in rules to build car according to R2C rules
Citroen C2R2 is R2B, Twino R2 is also R2B, (Twino R1 is R1B)
There are no big differences between R2 and R3, just weight, rim dimensions, etc.
Has anyone or is there in the network a list of R1A, R1B, R2B, R2C, R3C, R3D and R3T homologated cars nowadays rallying around? I mean makes and models, not specific plates or cars... :)
I don't think so as group R is currently only homologation extension to group A. For example - Citroen C2 is homologated in group A under homologation number A-5672 and there are homologation extensions called "VR2B" (Variante Rallyes R2B). So there is no pure group R homologation so I think there is no list of group R homologated vehicles on FIA www, but I may be wrong :)Quote:
