Never seen the point in Lights personally - they're probably just as harmful and if I remember rightly have a higher tar-to-nicotine ratio which makes them theoretically more harmful...

When I smoked, Camel Straights, i.e. no filter, but I wish they made a king size straights as they did not last long.
They had no filler and tasted like tobacco should, not the crap that they put in most filter cigarettes.
I tried Lucky Strike straights but they were not as good as Camel.
I tried every brand on the market then and the one I could not stand, as it gave me nasty headaches was Marlboro. NASTY - NASTY things.
Look it up if you wish, but filters on cigarettes do nothing to make them safer, except maybe there was one way back that had charcoal filters.
What the filter takes out is the least harmful of the items contained in cigarette smoke.
Red L&Ms. It's like red Marlboro only way better. When abroad, I stick with red Marlboros.
All I know it is the only consumer product that can kill you over time if you use it in the manner intended.....
