Puncture for Basso on 7th stage, changed the wheel, lost more than three minutes....
So, the 50 years old boy put everybody behind once again. What a shame this guy never participate in an international level.
You can switch all you want, Andreucci will still be champion in my opinion. Peugeot put him in troubles more than once but he managed to win anyway or take valuable points.
I still remember Il Ciocco Rally, he had problems and was several minutes far from lead. Then he won all the remaining stages giving 10-15 seconds per stage to the others. At the end he was something like 5th or 6th.
The only way for him to lose the champioship is his age or Scandola exploiting all the power of Fabia R5.
Andreucci/Andreussi are italian champions for the 9th time.
Well deserved. Congratulation to them! Timeless couple!
Indeed, Paolo Andreucci is a phenomenon! Behid him stands a very good team, a car which doesn't make such headaches as all around the world...Maybe that has also something to do with his driving style, who knows...
Obviousley he has a matching co-pilot(well done Ana) and the sum of all this facts gives an unbeatable combination.
9-times national champion, with very different cars (Fiat Punto S1600, Focus WRC, G.Punto S2000, P207 S2000 and P208 R5); a proof of his skils....
No it is time to celebrtate Paolino, cheers....
2016 - 10th crown, what else??!
You sumed up perfectly Ucci.
As for his driving style you are right in my opinion. Someone in this forum can say he is more nose end first. I can just say that he is very clean and smooth. And of course a lot of merit goes to Anna as well.
2016 could be 10th crown indeed but if Scandola will take it in the road it will not be easy.
Bad news from "Ba...relli Ronde" near Como.
Due to a crash, Renaul Clio R3 n° 11 caught fire: CAMPANA Stefano (pilot) and MUNZ Robin (co-pilot), both from Switzerland, are died.
