Poor Bibendum. he is smiling but it is bitter smile, because they refused to make selfie with him because of his body. :/
Ogier drove without the extra lights because of that text in Bulletin 1:Quote:

If prior to SS1y running it was still not autorised to use them after the mentioned decision, then everybody who used them on that stage must be penalised at Stewards' discretion!
If it was autorised later on, then we might start to think about the "conspiracy" of Ogier turning the lights off in order to gain some extra power  :D
Please, before writing subjective comments, first consult yourself with the official documents of the rally...
Strange to have this SS0 stage. TV coverage was very confusing. Despite all the drivers mentioning a second run it was never referenced on commentary. Everyone would come away thinking Ogier was leading the rally when in fact it was Hanninen.
Okay it is a nothing special stage, but that's still a live global TV broadcast and Toyota just lost a bit of PR there. How hard would it have been to just change the stage numbers to 1 and 2?
Will also be interesting to see whether that stage runs next year. Very long day for all involved on the rally.
Simmi, it was hard enough to change it because at the very last moment, they've decided to run it twice while everything on the itinerary was ready months before that for just one run.Quote:

On the other hand, I don't know who invented the "SS0" stuff since in the itinerary both stages were named SS1x and SS1y (not SS0 and SS1), no matter how strange was that too (SS1a and SS1b would be more understandable), but that's another topic...
the most useless stage i have ever seen, i hope it disappears and never comes back...and the atmosphere was nothing like it has been at Guanajuato city stage in previous years
