Arcade mode & super stages = low res skins
Replace the low res skins with some high-res ones (if it's possible) and it should be fine (or stay away from arcade mode, it's not real rallying :D ).
Select hi-res texture file (f.ex. f99a1.bfl), make copy of it, paste to same folder, rename the copy to f99c1.bfl So, from *a1* should be *c1*.
Similar with 3D file - select f99a1N.c3d, make a copy, paste, rename the copy to f99c1.c3d Here, from *a1N* should be *c1*.
Or was that no use?

It worked for the Challenge. The AI has the custom car. But not in SSS or Arcade.

I'm experiencing a small problem here: after having finished (and won) the championship, you get to see your car parked in front of a castle with a lot of fireworks behind it. But my game won't go any further aftert he movie. No matter what I try, that stupid firefoworks won't go away. Anyone have a solution?

You press Space or Esc. I did it yesterday after completing the Expert championship :D
I can't remember if it was Space, Esc. , or Return that I used ?
-
I've tried those as they were the most likely options. ;)

rofl!
Have you tried pressing every button on the keyboard :D ?

Sort of. :D
I'll try again tonight but I don't I've forgotten something.

how do i change the drivers names on the windows? do i have to change the file or something like that?
-
Yeah, but it's a long winded process, you need to unpack the *bfl file, and then find the file with the window and repaint it. To unpack it you will need a tool called "cmr2edit" which you can find here:
http://www.colinmcrae.110mb.com/cmr2_tools.htm
I've never modded the windows so you may have to find someone else to help you with that I'm afraid :D ;)

I've just tried my new steering wheel. My joypad problem just reoccured: nothing happens after two or three stages or the car gets a mind of its own. I've tried Grand Prix Legends and it happened in that game too so the problem must be my PC. But what could the problem be?
