Tomorrow there is a local rally only 20km from Ypres.
A lot of drivers test for Ypres, a lot of them out of the results with extra service zone etc.
Mikkelsen, Ingram, Lefebvre, Rossel, Gryazin, Bulacia, Linnamae, Burri, Bux, Munster, Bedoret...

Big fight among Gryazin Lefebvre and Fernemont at Rallye du Condroz-Huy

Lefebvre lost more than 2,5 minutes while leading Gryazin with 2,6 sec.
According to French forum he passed slowly at stage end with car smoking

If I see it correctly, after winning a couple of rallies in Italy, Gryazin wins also in Belgium:

Some interesting observations:
1. Porsche in the second place
2. Former Formula 1 driver Jos Verstappen in the 6th place
3. Some top Belgian drivers did not compete (e.g. de Mevius brothers, Munster...)

When I saw pictures in last years, it is not so big surprise, but Condroz finished with tragedy - https://www.rallylovers.be/nb/12788/...-Condroz-Rally

I know stuff like this isn't new in Belgium, but will this mark a turning point? Will questions be asked?
-
Generalisations - questions are always asked after bad accidents. There is the official investigations by Police and relevant authorities and forward the information to a coroner or similar. The Motorsport organisation also may have its own private accident investigator/ relevant experienced motorsport people/ panel do their own report/ recommendations that might be released after the official coroner's report/ hearing.
The Australian (Tasmanian) Targa situation & others might have a few similarities to this. With the FIA increasingly active in road safety etc. The local motorsport organisation RACB will likely make changes.
