Really? I have to admit it is a very good word to describe them. Congrats. As for the money I think we are even since you called me kid more than once and I have just decided to forgive you.

That's an interesting idea, but I don't think it would happen :(
In fact, as of last year, our national governing body for rally removed the phrasing in its yearly mission statement/objectives to get the sport to a point where a WRC round could be hosted, as it is not viewed as a priority at this time.
Don't get me wrong, I'd be the first to help or get into a Fiesta R2 to compete in the event.
As for a time slot, that would put the timeline directly inline with the Rocky Mountain Rally (beginning of June), my "home" event. While that would be amazing, I don't know if the event has WRC caliber roads. New roads are being found all the time though as the event is new to the area. Its a resort town, so the amenities are there to host large amounts of people.
Might need to put a bug in the ear of the event organizer haha.
I'd love another snow rally. I'm sure Canada could sort something out.
Do you mean N.O.T has copyright on being a village idiot?
A lot of these 'issues' are down to the Promoter not doing their job; i;e actually promoting the sport.
If events are more visible, there is more chance of raising proper sponsorship, rather than the 'hand-outs' from regional/ tourist boards.
There is only 1 place that the Italian round of the WRC should be and that is Sanremo. Why this event can't even get a place on the ERC just baffles me; why can't they get any money, yet Sardinia can?
Poland I think is the 2nd oldest rally, and so has the history; sadly, they moved to gravel so they could get in the WRC - another bit of short sightedness from the FiA.
Finally, shortening events? Really?? Sorry, but the sport has been dumbed down enough.....no more! Sunday's are already a joke; either get rid of them or increase the mileage on the final day. I keep saying it but the WRC should be a mixture of event lengths; all being the same doesn't work. Some events need to be longer 3/4 full days; e;g Monte, RallyGB. Whereas some would suit a 2 day event.
Before long, we'll end up with 1 day events - basically WorldRX.....
You may be sure but I am sure they can't..
They have a fun series and I have lots of friends and customers in Canada but it is really just like America in important respects: a few millionaires play with fancy Subarus at the top, on guy is 4 or 5 minutes ahead in their short 170 km SS events and below them just friendly guys struggling to make noise...
NO FOUNDATION....(although much better in that respect than USA)
No foundation, very short on manpower, very short on entries, NO homologated cars to fill the field so what are you going to have for a WRC start list? 13 cars? 15?
Sorry.
