Rossetti won thrilling battle with Kopecký by just one second in finish. What a fight!
Congratulations to Rossetti, Kopecky, Perico, Carella(8th for his first outing in S2000) and Ucci/Racing Lions(both titles for them) :)
Very interesting season, lot of good drivers and top cars!
Now wait for 2011!
Indeed very interesting season in Italy, definitely most spectacular championship in Europe http://www.motorsportforums.com/foru...cons/spin2.gifA lot of publicity was brought with the decision of Skoda Motorsport to bring Kopecky in Italy-also very good marketing decision!!
Speaking of results-me personaly as an observer of CIR can say, that the ''old'' genaration, like Longhi, Travaglia and Navarra are having more and more troubles to find speed to achive top results. The only exception is of course Paolo Andreucci, who has no troubles with Basso, Roxsy, Kopecky, Scandola
and others, he is really phenomenon....
So to the next season-2011, it is a bit to early to speak about changes for teams&drivers, at this time yust Andreucci is already 100% for sure at Racing Lions (you don't change the winning horse) and Longhi has also a contract with Twister Corse for the next year...
Around when should we expect the announcement of the 2011 calendars?
(CIR, TRA, TRT)?
Have You told that to Rossetti? :DQuote:

But, as already told, I respect Rossetti very high !!
I don't know what Abarth promised (or paid) him 2 years ago, but I think if he stayed in Racing Lions' 207 maybe now he is 3 times Italian champion...Quote:

Abarth's future is not sure. Hope they'll remain.
And hope to see again Kopecky but I think is very unlikely!
