The new Maxtra 125 team
http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2008/M...ed+in+Shanghai
what do you guys think?
some big names behind this project Surtees, Taylor, engine designed and built by Jan Witteveen, chassis by Harris Performance
They also try to built it up as a Chinese bike but Haojue is just the money.

The more the merrier.
The appearance of new name like Haojue is a surprise, I hope previously to appear Chinese or Korean technology any of Kanzen, Sanex, or Beijing.
Similarly, no one has mentioned the future project of Aspar Mapfre entering motoGP. Currently there are only 18 bikes on the grid while the ideal number I think it should be 20 or 22. This could be good for motogp future.

Good for them. I see Spanish riders on Japanese bikes, Aussies on Italian bikes, the more bikes competing, the better IMO. I don't care who is riding it, or where he/she is from, as long as we see some great racing. I don't care if a one legged, lesbian pigmey with a fetish for Neil Hodgson wins the title, as long as we see some great racing. OK, the Neil Hodgson part was over the top, imagine having a fetish for that

Why are they developing a new 125 team when it looks like the category will be phased out in the near future?

Keep the rule complied with, once we don't have this small class anymore for the bigger class, start developing bike for the new class, why is so problem?
