I picked up Fistful of Mercy the other day. Being a Northeast Ohio guy, I really like the collaboration.
Thanks for the tip on the documentary. I'll have to watch for it.

Photograph was great, if very poignant. Loved the McCartney/Starr moment during For You Blue - "that's the 12 bar blues". Credit to GH's family and friends for getting together to celebrate the way they did. It said a lot about them and George.

Okay, I've watched it 3 times now. It had to have been hard for Ringo to sing "Photograph." Like he said, the meaning has changed on that one.

Thanks for the tip re: "Fistful of Mercy." In the meantime, I'll dig up "Cloud Nine" to tide me over (I just have it on vinyl & I think my turntable still works).

Have you heard the song, "My Father's Son?" Definite proof that "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." I haven't heard anything else from the CD yet, though.
