Any info on my restoration project. It is a Hillman Super Imp, of 1975 vintage. It is red and white, previously turquoise, originally dark metallic green. It has 1985 Weller 7x13 eight spoke wheels on it (rare or what!) and has only one seat, a tartan Recaro bucket, possibly from a Capri or XR3. It has had a few engine changes, and seems currently to have a 998cc Imp engine, but only a single carb, but dont worry, I have twin Strombergs waiting to be put on. It has a Ford radiator in the front, and two copper pipes linking this to the engine. via the cabin. Unusally, it still has its large, practical door bins for storage, and its wood veneer dash, although this is damaged so ill b changing to \'wood\' for aluminium, and replacing the two missing guages. It had some really messy holes cut into the nose to aid cooling butthis has been swapped for some custom-built steel grilles, which realy suit the car, along with a strong steel mesh I picked up a huge roll of which in a scrapyard in Port Glasgow for only a fiver! Anyway, any info on its past would be appreciated, so email me if you think you remember it at all.
