Post RBR Cup: UK Rally (semifinal ) - 11th Sep 09, 07:12

RBR Motorsport Forums Cup 2009
Round 5 ( semifinal ) : UK Rally
18,19,20 September 2009

Rally I.D.
As one of the oldest rallies in the world, U.K Rally
- known for much of its history as the RAC Rally -
has reflected the numerous changes in the sport.
In late September, Motorsport Forums drivers and teams
will converge upon South Wales to test their skills
In the semifinal rally of the season. The promise of rain, mud, and fog
are all thrown into the mix. The demanding stages
around Harwood Forest and Chirdonhead, are fast and flowing and,
when wet, can become as slippery as any in the world.

Have yet to turn a wheel on this game (except the demo).
Hope I can find a cheat to unlock everything...

Or you could create driver profile called MULLIGATAWNY and if you use it, all stages and cars are available.
Other way is to run a new season aka championship on rookie level with damage off. It should be pretty easy to win AI drivers, though this options require time.

Holy damper rates, Batman!

I feel as if I need a background as a rally mechanic o set up the car-quite technical!

Are there any cars available beyond the 8 I see in my garage?

Looks like I'll be attempting some skin downloads....

I'm in for this one. Realised this weekend that there is no reset button while doing the real thing.

Yup, going to be there in the S2000 this event as promised, already entered the event. Should be nice dice for the class win and maybe even a top 6 overall... =)

Especially if it rains...

Here are my shakedown times:
1:20.41
1:19.66
1:21.26
1:20.81
1:19.12
1:17.50
I mainly focused on setup changes and how car responds to them. Only the last run was more or less clean. Because it was dry on shakedown stage, I hope that I find comfortable setup on the first stages on day 1. I hope I am able to get podium finish to keep my championship chances alive but first I must finish this very tricky event.

Didn't work a lot in shakedown!!
Prefer practice in real stages which are wet and very difficult
What made you LCD do the whole rally rain
