yes the DS3 is to get its debut, bit of a down side this year theres a few rallies running in the one rally,in my own oppinion the running of a stand alone event for wrc's is a bit stupid, the Msa have decided unlike other years to dump some of the top irish championship runners into a single event for themselves,as the ulster merges the irish and british championships but weve knowing for a while that the WRC cars have got in the way so now you will have the top GpN and S2000's running the main event and the WRC's running after the main rally,i know unlike the past there will only be a few WRC's but ill be a lonely rally for them

Have you forgotten the rally is running this week-end ??? The thread should have been updated...

After SS9 big battle in WRC between Derek McGarrity and Gareth McHale, whereas Craig Breen is leading the other category ahead of Keith Cronin and Gwyndaff Evans...Bryan Bouffier leading the 2WD for the first outing of the DS3

Crazy time from Bryan Bouffier on SS11

Cronin got 1 min penalty for being too early in TC. It's decided on top I think.

First BRC round to be won by a S2000 car so congrats to Craig Breen.

N14 Subarus always seem a bit lively at the back!

Earlier in the year i remember Cronin saying the Impreza wasnt very good over the bumps and even with the nose heavy landing it dosnt look good there. Im guessing the crews ok?

Crew perfectly ok. Must have been even more gutted as that was stage 1!

Great result for Bouffier in the Citroen but it does highlight again the relative weakness of our premier rally series when an albeit talented driver with no prior experience of the roads and in an un competition tested front wheel drive car can be so on the pace against 4 wheel drive machinery.
