Adam Parr leaves Williams
As a bit of a shocker, Williams have announced that Adam Parr will leave the company at the end of this week. Officially, he leaves "to pursue a better balance in his life". But I wonder what's really happened there...

Just when you think Williams are starting to get everything sorted and are back on the way up...

End of this week? That's the F1 equivalent of being fired on the spot without being able to go back to your desk to collect your things.
I wonder what has happened. He was being talked of as the eventual successor to FW. Doubt he has suddenly realised that he needs to spend more time with family.Iceman: Adjective 1)Rapid, swift 2)Nickname of Kimi-Matias Räikkönen, a legendary Formula 1 driver

How strange. Williams' statement of a few weeks ago, while clouded in the usual PR waffle, did seem quite unequivocal in its backing for Parr. Were those just empty words?

Some sources say that this has something to do with Parr not getting along with Ecclestone and the Concorde Agreement.

Odd though the logic the Mole displays is, its the only thing I can think of that can explain this rather bizarre move.
Whatever has happened to the Concorde agreement the main players have all agreed and its the midfield teams like Williams and Sauber that are being mopped up now, with Mercedes sidelined. It'll be interesting to find out what happened, not that we will of course.

Theres no smoke without fire, and even though I'm a huge Williams fan I cant help but think that the Venezuelan connection might have something to do with it:
Alek Boyd: Venezuela: Congressman Carlos Ramos questions Williams F1
Also I wouldnt be at all surprised if AP had upset BCE; after all he is a smart city type and BCE probably doesnt like anyone who can outsmart him...

It wouldn't have been that simple as Adam Parr not only would have represented Williams at the talks, he would have decided their policy as CEO and therefore would have been the reason Williams couldn't do a deal with Bernie. SFW is no longer on the board there IIRC so wouldn't have been able to oppose Parr formally within the team. He would have had no choice but to ask for Parr's withdrawal as majority stakeholder (with Head) to facilitate an agreement.
