The Rally of San Marino, will also be valid for TRT .... but almost surely, so yesterday a spokesman of the pilots, will be deserted, none of the Trophy race! Too close to San Crispino, only 5 days away between the two races ....

It's the usual italian way of doing things (it seems to work only in football
)...
It makes no sense to put 2 important gravel rallyes on 2 consecutive weekends when we have 4 in the whole year. Furthermore, the most important one doesn't have validity for Italian Championship... And TRT validity is just a farce and I won't explain in this forum 'cause it's really embarassing!

I must say I am little bit surprised with the quality of entry list. Level in TRT is not so high in these years. I think it will be interesting event... Skoda Motorsport dont plan to do all events in IRC this year. Juho will start in same date on Bosphorus Rally (ERC), Jan is preparing for Rally Bohemia. There will be also other events where will be no Skoda Motorsport...

Interesting to see what Salo can do with a Fiesta... What is the nature of the stages? With a quick search, I didn't manage to find any onboards from last year.

If I remember it's mostly smooth, hard, very twisty and narrow gravel.

I know but I think neither are as good on gravel as on asphalt. I hope to be pleasantly surprised. Andreas I think is still a better gravel driver than asphalt (on gravel I think he is faster than Juho, and it seems quite a good match for Ogier too)
Flodin could be capable of a podium here.

In the press release Miroslav Janota (driving ERC historic there) says the two legs are completely different. First day hard, smooth gravel but second day on places extremely rough especially for historic cars. In another article Dario D'Esposito says that only four kilometers of the stages are same with last year and that most of the route comes from the past.

The battle in 2WDs could be interesting

If Citroën Italia had sent Simone Campedelli there would have had no trouble to guess the winner
