Surprised and disappointed with no Hanninen.

Guess the fight for victory will be between Sordo, Basso and Mikkelsen. Maybe with Kopecky and Bouffier joining in the fight too.

Sordo's car is very young, he won't beat the fastest Skoda or Basso. More than this, it's probably he won't finish the rally.

I believe that even with a slower car Sordo can be faster than Basso or any other driver.This is because he is a world class driver and he will compete in a <2nd> class championchip.Sorry IRC!!!

I don´t think IRC is second class championship. Or let´s say in 2011 it wasn´t. (for example Barum rally 2011 was one big dream) Anyway Dani is such excellent driver that I also bet on him.

So you think he will win this rally by four or five minutes?

There shouldn't really be any performance or reliability issues with the car as Kielder has suggested as it is basically just a de-tuned Mini WRC is it not?

I believe Sordo will be more than capable of winning this rally but nobody from WRC has come into an IRC event and dominated. It will be interesting as ever.

Indeed dimvii, this your question about Guiogu&Delecour against three musketeers with Impreza's R4 is a good one!! With all the respect to both Megane drivers I would not bet on them. Observing results in Italy drivers with new Meganes have still a lot of technical difficulties whit those cars. Will be interesting to observe.....

Other than Ogier and Solberg, Sordo is one of the best drivers the IRC could have for a event. The SPC car has been used by others and could well make it to the end and on the podium. But I am not holding my breath.
