Default Congrats to the Grumpy Scot - Gold Slam 1st two stages completed!

OK we've waited for an age for the ghost of Fred Perry to be exorcised, then like London Buses, 2 come along. Start of a dominant year?

    It was cool to watch.

He looked exhausted, in pain and I'm sure, relieved.

    More victories will sure come.

After the Olympics, and especially after Berdych knocked Federer out, I felt it wouldn't be long before we saw Murray's pained expressions of victory after a grand slam final. Congratulations to him.

Not my favourite player, but I really like how he's adopted Lendl's bodyline tennis approach.

I have to say I've really been warming up to Murray, I only watched the match against Berdych. It was a hotly contested, close match, but what really cracked me up was when he said about the gale force winds, and general inclement weather:

^^Of course I meant Scot actually I think he said: "and I'm from Scotland" but I don't remember the interview verbatim

Actually most of us Englishmen think he's a bit of a 'Scott' too

    Do I?

It's allowed in the rules - so he's perfectly entitled to do it.
