I am curious about what your opinion is
Finally got time for vacation, and as such I allowed myself, after reading my personal emails, to check out the news site on Yahoo.
First in the list was this one:
NBC pulls
Being a curious person, who isn't?, I went on to check the video (click ahead in peace there is nothing creepy in it):
LiveLeak.com - Bodies in Motion: Women at the 2012 London Olympics
and on the page where the video is I found the link to the outraged article that calls this video creepy:
Someone at NBC Apparently Approved This Creepy, Porny Video of Female Olympians
Enough said I almost died of laughter reading it and trying to imagine how could a sane person seriously write that stuff.
Now, honestly should all of us just turn away from the TV sets when they are showing a women during Olympics, other than the head to toe clothed Muslims? Shall we condemn all athletes for wearing skimpy and tight fitting garments and expect them all to run around fully clothed like the above mentioned Muslim athletes?
What is your opinion, to those who dared to watch it, is that video creepy?Michael Schumacher The Best Ever F1 Driver
Everything I post is my own opinion and I\'ll always try to back it up!

Not at all creepy. But really, until you spend enough time in USA, it is hard to imagine the depth of puritanical thought..
It is truly amazing, especially if one has ever lived anywhere civilised such as nearly anywhere in Europe.
The legacy of the hard-ass Calvinists and worse is the underlying background to everything here, especially all those many things that most of the looks at happening here and saying "Oi! Only in America"
Sp pervasive is this retrograde puritanical-ism that I've wondered why "they" don't just dress like the puritans so we normally adjusted people can see them---and avoid them.
You might find this artcle thought provoking:
Puritan Values Still Resonate in Today

Read and enjoy...[h=Puritan Values Still Resonate in Today’s USA]1[/h] A new study finds the value system of the early colonists, which links hard work, conservative sexual behavior and spiritual salvation, still has a hold on Americans’ psyches.
That’s the conclusion of a group of researchers led by Eric Luis Uhlmann of the HEC Paris School of Management. Writing in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, the scholars — including Yale University psychologist John Bargh — present evidence of “an overarching American ethos” binding work, sex and salvation.

Thanks for taking your time and answering.
At one point I was thinking that maybe I was the only one who thought that there was nothing out of place with that video, certainly nothing to call it creepy.
Janvanvurpa thanks for the details about puritanism, it made for a good read, especially to someone like me who considers himself a libertine (and libertarian but that's not that relevant in this case).Michael Schumacher The Best Ever F1 Driver

The title is about what miss Erin Gloria Ryan called this video, creepy and porny:
