Hello Forum members

A great new Association has just been started up by seasoned race car drivers and enthusiasts.

The HMSA Historic Modsports and Saloon Association are to revive all the old Historic Race Car Modsports,Super Saloons and Historic Hot Rods allowing all the cars to use slick race tyres and semi space frames.

The HMSA are attracting huge attention from well known race car drivers who have found it difficult to race these machines, there are so many varied makes such as the Modsports Historic AC Cobras,Lotus,Aston Martin,Turners,Elvas,Ferrari,TVR,MG,TR and the Black Brick Careham series etc.

The Super Saloons and Historic Hot Rods include Gerry Marshalls Big bertha cars,TWR Jags,BMW Batmobiles,Escorts,Capris,Anglias,Skoda etc.

We can see this Association doing rather well, once they build up the membership they will have quite a strong force to give the drivers racing slots with the UK and European leading car clubs.

You can imagine the Historic Race cars they will be fielding on the race grids,it will look great especially as most of the cars are owned by seasoned battle hardened race drivers who will race door to door, lap after lap.

We all get a bit cheeved watching parade racing in some other Historic races where show is more important than go. :D
