Is there Robert Butor with Swift S1600?

]Is there Robert Butor with Swift S1600?

No. He don't drive the hungarian championship this year. He bought a Lada VFTS to run as zero car on smaller rallys and he tries to participate in IRC with a Swift S1600 and there were also some rumors that he might be the test driver for the SX4 S2000.

Thanks, I heard about that plans but didn't know if he is on Eger or not ;)

After six stages in Eger Rally:

1. Benik Balazs
2. Spitzmuller at 3"6
3. Turi Tamas at 23"6
4. Turan Frigyes at 1'00"5
5. Herczig Norbert at 1'54"5

Béres in Punto S2000 is actually 7th at 2'04"6

Except some problem in stage 6 (+54 seconds) young Czech Jaroslav Orsak made a stuning drive when he was fighting with Béreš in gr. N Lancer evo 9 :)

By the way there was an average speed of 148 km/h on the opening stage. That is a real shame of the organisation. Also don't think it is safe on tarmac...

Wohw, that is a little bit fast, isn't it? It is far too fast, certainly on asfalt.

But anyway "my horses" in this rally are doing well :D Orsak is 9th just 5 sec behind Asi and Beres is 6th overal...

From Beres's site very short and easy translation of Beres/Muller crew:
The first stage was way too fast for us, we have a top speed of 170 km/h and we were running long straights in rpm-limiter. There was some rain in the first section and we had slick tyres.
The second section was completely wet with a lot of mud on stages. I haven't even learned to drive the car on dry and it is all wet now. We are trying not to make any mistake.
The last section was very mudy with an incredible fog and we were driving without any lights so as to see at least something.

Has Csaba Spitzmüller retired ???

I see Balasz first, then Tamasz and Frygies after SS8...

Not bas SJJ 21st, 2nd of the 2WD behind local driver Kakuszi running in a more powerful car(Clio S1600) :)

Spitzmuller is on the charge now, just a few seconds behind Turan after SS11, but certainly the most pleasant surprise for me are Bereš and Orsak. :)

And in Slovak champ the winner is Beres (Punto S2000, 5th overal) ahead of Orsak (Evo 9 N4, 9th overal).

I just came back.It was a spectacular rally!!!.
The second section of the first day was wet and very muddy(the Ladas were very attractive on dry tyres!!!).The second day was dry.Bereš was very fast.Spitzmuller was pushing very hard.Drotar was very attractive and aggressive to the corners.Turi was pushing that old Corolla at 110 percent.Simon JJ was attractive but not spectacular.
I think that Beniks victory is even bigger because I think I saw him with his hand injured.

To Mirek: That is an Zastava 850,not an Fiat.It was very fast!

Ow Mirek... Awesome!

Beres Jr, is one of my best drivers, and with a S2000 he drives and turn the corners like with the Clio S1600, simply the best

I did some time ago a small video from Jozef Beres :p

being a champion in rallying is not about power sliding in corners and using handbrake
yes Beres style is spectacular but i think Grzyb could be faster

ZKT
7th April 2008, 12:09
Yes and no, Luca.

Remenber for example, Colin Mcrae driving style....

For example. there are lot of corners, like if you slide a bit you can go faster.

I`ve seen lot of Beres interior cameras footage and he is very fast in fast sections ;)

Jean-Joseph with new C2-R2 Max won the A6 class by 2,1 second from Kakuzsi (Clio S1600).
